About the Journal

The Journal of Social Science Perspectives (JSSP) is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed, Gold Open Access journal dedicated to advancing high-quality scholarship across the social sciences. The journal publishes original, methodologically rigorous, ethically conducted, and theoretically informed research that enhances understanding of human behaviour, social institutions, cultural dynamics, governance, public policy, and the processes of social, economic, and political change.

JSSP welcomes high-quality contributions from a broad spectrum of social science disciplines, including Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Political Science, Economics, Education, Social Work, Public Policy and Governance, International Relations, Development Studies, Gender and Women's Studies, Media and Communication Studies, Human Geography, Population and Demographic Studies, Criminology and Criminal Justice, Peace and Conflict Studies, Environmental and Sustainability Studies (social dimensions), Digital Society and Technology Studies, Cultural and Area Studies, and interdisciplinary research that integrates two or more social science disciplines.
