Article Processing Charges (APC)

The Journal of Social Science Perspectives (JSSP) is a Gold Open Access journal. All accepted articles are published with immediate and unrestricted online access, allowing readers worldwide to read, download, share, and cite published research without subscription fees or paywalls.

To support the journal's editorial and publishing operations—including editorial management, double-blind peer review, copyediting, typesetting, digital publishing, long-term archiving, DOI registration, metadata dissemination, and indexing support—an Article Processing Charge (APC) is payable only after a manuscript has successfully completed peer review and has been formally accepted for publication.

Payment Policy

• No manuscript submission fee is charged.
• The APC becomes payable only after formal editorial acceptance of the manuscript.
• No payment is requested during the initial submission, editorial screening, or peer review stages.
• The APC is non-refundable once the manuscript has been accepted and publication processing has commenced, except where otherwise determined by the Editorial Office.

Purpose of the APC

The Article Processing Charge supports the long-term sustainability of the journal and contributes to maintaining high standards of scholarly publishing. The APC helps cover the costs associated with editorial administration, peer-review management, copyediting, production, website maintenance, digital preservation, DOI registration, metadata distribution, and online publication, while ensuring that all published research remains permanently and freely accessible to readers worldwide.
